Chris’ Story

Chris Williams is a proud native of Rochester, Minnesota. He was raised in a happy home in southeast Rochester with his parents and three sisters.

Chris has been influenced by many things in his life, but the impression his parents made has been the deepest.

Chris’ father was a respected banker who worked for Home Federal Savings Bank as a loan officer until his untimely death. Mr. Williams died of brain cancer leaving his wife with four young children to raise. The attributes Chris saw in his father have become the building blocks of who he is today: fairness, kindness, confidence, honesty, integrity, self-control, a good sense of humor and a great big heart. Isaac Williams left a legacy treasured by his son to this day: the importance of a good reputation and the value of a good name.  These attributes are much more important to Chris than money or fame.

His mother, Lonnie, was another stellar influence in his life. Widowed with four children to raise, she demonstrated the qualities of resilience, sacrifice, modesty, humility, gentle toughness, and the value of good old-fashioned hard work. Even though she had to work, she made a way to be home every day when her children came home from school. She made sure they were provided for even if she had to go without.

The excellent example of these two people of faith, along with his own faith in Christ, has made Chris the man of diligence and principle that he is today.

Chris graduated from Mayo High School in 1999. He remained in the area and attended Crossroads College, a local Christian college. Upon graduation, he was offered a job in the Admissions Department where he spent the next nine years networking, marketing and recruiting.

During that season of life, Chris met and married the love of his life, Kristen. Their lives were enlarged and enhanced by the birth their lovely daughter, Bella Joy.

His life experiences have allowed him to hone a wide variety of skills and therefore, enable him to bring that expertise to his real estate clients.
